Living Legacy and Inspiration in Brazil

In the 18th December issue of the Irish Catholic Newspaper, Seamus Collins (former Misean Cara L&D Manager) shares his reflections on a monitoring trip to Brazil in October 2025 to visit several Misean Cara-funded member projects.

“It’s in the impoverished communities on the periphery of cities like Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and São  Paulo, or in the semi-arid areas of the northeast, the poorest region of the country, that the enduring, living legacy of Irish missionaries can be seen, in work that is as relevant and urgent today as it ever has been.”
