Spirit Radio interviews CEO John Moffett – Irish Missionaries serving overseas during conflict

Spirit Radio FM host Lydia O’Kane speaks with Misean Cara CEO John Moffett about the challenges, risks and dangers missionaries can face when serving in communities overseas, especially in countries affected by conflict.

“Many of our returned missionaries have stories of their time served overseas, and of staying with communities through very serious conflict situations. It’s an important part of their calling – to stay in place and serve regardless, to be a beacon of hope and support to local populations that have nowhere else to go when conflict sets in. Our missionaries are incredibly courageous, brave and have a real sense of service.”
