Safer Internet Day – 11th February

Misean Cara is pleased to join our Marist partners FMSI NGO for a special online programme looking at safeguarding strategies for protecting children from online exploitation and abuse.

Taking place online, 11th February at 12pm Irish Time/ 1pm CET, ‘Safeguarding Innocence: strategies against online child exploitation and abuse’ brings together experts from the Marist Community and beyond speaking on ways forward for keeping children safe from abuses online and protecting their rights in the online world. We’re delighted to have Misean Cara Safeguarding Officer, Valerie Philpott joining the programme to discuss ‘Building comprehensive safeguarding systems: addressing online and offline risks to protect children.’
