CEO John Moffett on Spirit Radio FM – Misean Cara Climate Action Awards 2025

Misean Cara CEO, John Moffett, spoke to Spirit Radio’s morning host Kieran Carrick recently to talk about the 2025 Climate Action Awards and how Misean Cara’s members and their innovative climate change projects are having a real impact at a local level.

โ€œItโ€™s the poorest and most vulnerable people in our world who will suffer first and hardest as a result of climate change and changing weather patterns. What stood out with this yearโ€™s winning projects was their approach to education, adaptation, and mitigation in poor communities, in light of the challenges theyโ€™re facing with the climate crisis.

Each project shows innovative ways to improve peopleโ€™s knowledge, understanding and approach to addressing the impact of climate change at a local level, in communities where the climate crisis has really taken hold.”
