The Work of Misean Cara – An Interview with John Moffett, CEO

Hear our CEO, John Moffett, in discussion with Spirit Radio FM’s host Lydia O’Kane, during an interview to talk about Misean Cara’s reach and impact last year, as reported in the recently launched 2024 Annual Report.

In 2024, Misean Cara supported its members in reaching 1.9 million people in 52 countries through projects in livelihoods, education, health, human rights and emergency assistance.

“Put into context, 1.9 million people really is a massive reach by our missionary members working across the globe. It equates to about a third of the population of Ireland being supported by Irish missionary organisations, and we’re talking about people who are the poorest and most vulnerable across the world.”
