Dóchas Network Hosts Safeguarding Sessions: Beyond Compliance to Implementation

From November 1 to November 10, Dóchas and its network members invite all to join in a series of online learning conversations around Safeguarding and how to build a culture of safeguarding in your organisation. To learn more and register click here.

The Safeguarding Sessions will each explore questions such as: ‘What is needed to lead a culture of safeguarding in the Irish humanitarian and development sector?’ and ‘How can we move beyond compliance to implementation?’.

Misean Cara Safeguarding Advisor, Valerie Philpott, hosts Session 3 ‘Caring for Survivors: A Principled Approach to
Safeguarding’
on Tuesday, November 8 from 11am to 1pm. Learn more about Valerie here.

The sessions are open to anyone (including non-Dóchas members) in the international non-governmental organisation humanitarian and development sector, based in Ireland or overseas, who have an existing background in safeguarding or are interested in learning more about how their organisations and partners can deliver the highest standards in safeguarding.
