Misean Cara AGM 2026 – Highlights & Photos

At our 2026 AGM on 24^th of June, held at the Hyatt Centric in Dublin, we were delighted to welcome an audience including Misean Cara members, our Board of Directors, Irish Aid, and other key stakeholders. Over the course of the day we covered a range of topics including a review of the 2025 Financial Statements, progress and achievements towards our strategic objectives, and the launch of the Misean Cara 2025 Annual Report.

Misean Cara’s Annual Report shares the reach and impact of life-changing Irish missionary development projects conducted by our members in 40 countries last year. Through projects working in the areas of livelihoods, education, healthcare and human rights, our members in 2025 worked with compassion and dignity in communities experiencing poverty, inequality and conflict. Their work brought hope and transformation to 1.13 million people through 344 projects funded by Misean Cara through our strategic partnership with Irish Aid.

2025 Impact Highlights

Livelihoods: More than 71,000 households in 26 countries improved their livelihood opportunities, and 84% of households had improved food and nutrition security.
Education: More than 118,000 learners accessed quality education in 33 countries – 98.1% stayed enrolled throughout the year.
Healthcare: More than 980,000 people across 24 countries received improved health services, clean water and better sanitation.
Human Rights: 1.1 million people supported in claiming their rights; more than 900 people helped to access justice and legal aid.
Emergency Response: 47,000 people in 19 countries received aid following disasters, conflict, and disease outbreaks.
