Youth Empowerment Clubs – A supportive space for leaders to grow
Cultural beliefs and economic struggles continue to limit youth education in Malawi. Many families prioritise farm work or early marriage, preventing young people from completing their studies.
Youth Empowerment Clubs provide a supportive space where children can confidently express their ideas, champion their rights, and take on leadership roles in their schools and communities.
In January 2025, girls and boys from the Youth Empowerment Clubs participated in the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), that works to influence policies that promote education for all.
Providing knowledge and opportunities empowers young people to build a better future.
