Argentina
Provision of community assistance centre and programme in which
children, adolescents and their parents can drop in, receive
education and health care from professionals. This addresses the
following difficulties - school desertion, adolescent pregnancy,
sexually transmitted illnesses, HIV/AIDS, drug and alcohol
addiction, abuse and violence, and conflict with the police.
Chile
Provision of community centre services in Santa Emilia including
educational support for young people in the community with learning
difficulties, training development of women and support in setting
up micro-enterprises, provision of alternative educational services,
counselling, training for independent living, personal support
services, providing health education and hygiene, basic medical
treatment, relaxation techniques and an holistic approach to living.
