Samples of the regional range and variety of development work of missionaries
Pakistan
(Capacity Building)
Construction of 6 non-formal village education centres and training
of teachers to provide Marwari children with basic education.
Assistance provided to local communities affected by the earthquake
and further training was provided to local community leaders on
human rights. Providing non-formal vocational training and
occupational therapy to women in psychiatric hospital and in prison,
justice and peace work.
India
(Capacity Building)
Human resource and development training centre including programs
in: women's emancipation, in service training for school staff, youth
development and training, rural development staff training, human
rights education, tsunami services staff training, inter-religious
dialogue courses and livelihood skill development staff training.
